Do I need to sign up to use BillingDone?+
No. The free invoice generator works immediately in your browser — no account required. Your draft is saved locally on your device. Sign in only when you want to sync invoices across devices, send them by email, or unlock automation.
How long does it actually take to create an invoice?+
About 30 seconds with AI Quick Create. Type or speak a short job description ("replaced kitchen faucet, 2 hours labor, parts $85") and BillingDone drafts line items, taxes, and totals. Edit anything, then download a PDF or share a link.
Does BillingDone take a cut of my payments?+
No. BillingDone never touches your money. You connect your own payment processor (Stripe, PayPal, Square, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, ACH, bank transfer) and customers pay you directly. You stay the merchant of record.
Which trades is BillingDone built for?+

What's the difference between Free, Pro, and Business?+
Free: 3 invoices/month, basic features, 5 AI credits/month. Pro: unlimited invoices, saved customers/services, estimates, your logo, 50 AI credits/month. Business: everything in Pro plus automatic payment reminders, review requests, richer reporting, and 150 AI credits/month.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Monthly or yearly plans cancel from settings — no penalty, no phone call required. If you cancel mid-cycle, you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
Does it work in my language and currency?+
BillingDone supports English, Spanish, French, German, and Portuguese, plus major world currencies and tax rules. Pick your locale once and every invoice formats correctly.
Is my data private and secure?+
Yes. The free generator keeps everything local on your device. Signed-in data is stored encrypted, served over HTTPS, and never sold. You can export or delete your data at any time.
Is BillingDone a replacement for QuickBooks or Xero?+
No — and that's the point. BillingDone is laser-focused on fast, mobile invoicing. It does not file taxes, run payroll, or manage inventory. If you need full accounting, pair it with the tool you already use; if you just need to bill and get paid quickly, BillingDone is enough on its own.
